Diamond Wire Sawing for Complex Cuts
Wire sawing uses a continuous loop of diamond-beaded wire, driven by a hydraulic or electric-powered saw unit, to cut through reinforced concrete, steel, stone, and virtually any other material. The wire is threaded through or around the structure via pre-drilled holes and a series of pulleys, then tensioned and rotated at speed to make the cut.
There is no limit to cutting depth. By increasing the length of the wire, we can cut through structures of any size — from 500mm thick walls to 3-metre bridge piers. The wire follows the pulley path, so cuts can be made horizontally, vertically, at angles, or even in curved profiles.
We use professional-grade wire saw systems — the industry standard for precision and reliability. Diamond wire technology delivers consistent cutting speed, long wire life, and clean finishes that reduce the need for secondary work.
Wire sawing produces minimal noise and vibration compared to conventional demolition methods, making it suitable for sensitive environments including hospitals, live commercial buildings, and residential areas. The process uses water to cool the wire and suppress dust, resulting in a clean worksite.
Wire Saw System
Our diamond wire saw is purpose-built for the most demanding concrete cutting applications. Key capabilities include unlimited cutting depth, 360-degree cutting angles, operation in confined and underwater environments, and the ability to cut through mass-reinforced concrete, post-tensioned structures, steel, and natural stone.
The system is electric-powered, producing zero exhaust fumes — critical for indoor, underground, and confined space operations. It runs quieter than hydraulic alternatives, and the compact drive unit can be set up in tight spaces where larger equipment won't fit.
