Hilti DSW 1510-CA Diamond Wire Cutting

WIRE SAWING QUEENSLAND

Our Hilti DSW 1510-CA drives a continuous loop of diamond-beaded wire that cuts reinforced concrete, steel and stone at any depth, any angle — even underwater. When nothing else can make the cut, the wire can.

NO DEPTH LIMIT. NO EXCUSES.

Diamond wire sawing is the industry standard for cutting mass-reinforced concrete, stone and steel. A continuous loop of diamond-beaded wire, driven at high speed and guided by pulleys, cuts in any direction — horizontal, vertical, angled, underwater — with minimal vibration and noise.

Where conventional saws stop at blade depth, wire sawing has no practical limit. Bridge piers, wharf headstocks, mass foundations, machine bases — if it can be reached, it can be cut into clean, engineered, liftable sections.

Because the cut is controlled and vibration-free, wire sawing protects everything around it: the structure that stays, the services in the slab, the tenants in the building. That makes it the backbone of complex demolition — and the perfect partner to our DXR 305 demolition robot.

We run the Hilti DSW 1510-CA — a 15 kW wire saw with Cut Assist software that automatically manages wire speed and tension throughout the cut. Faster rigging, smoother cuts, and consistent results on every section.

WHERE WIRE SAWING WINS

BRIDGE DEMOLITION

Piers, headstocks and deck sections cut into engineered lifts over water, rail and live roads.

WHARF & MARINE

Underwater cutting of piles, caps and decks — the standard method for marine structure removal.

MASS CONCRETE

Machine bases, foundations and blocks too thick for any blade. The wire doesn't care about depth.

STEEL & COMPOSITE

Embedded steel, composite sections and structures a blade can't touch.

PENETRATIONS & OPENINGS

Large wall and slab openings with clean, exact faces — no overcut, no vibration damage.

LOW-NOISE PRECINCTS

Hospitals, CBDs and occupied buildings where breaking is prohibited. Wire cutting is quiet.

WIRE SAWING QUESTIONS

The Hilti DSW 1510-CA — a 15 kW electric wire saw with Cut Assist software that automatically manages wire speed and tension. It's the successor to Hilti's proven DS WS15 system, set up for fast rigging and clean, controlled cuts.

There is no practical depth limit. The wire is a continuous loop, so as long as the wire can be routed around or through the section, it can cut it — bridge piers, mass foundations, wharf headstocks, and sections many metres thick.

Yes. Diamond wire cutting works submerged, which makes it the standard method for wharf, jetty and marine structure removal, and for cutting below waterline on bridge piers.

Wire sawing is low-noise, low-vibration and produces an engineered cut face. When sections must be lifted out in controlled pieces, or the surrounding structure must be protected, cutting beats breaking.

Heavily reinforced concrete, structural steel embedded in concrete, stone and masonry — the diamond beads cut whatever is in the path of the wire.

TOO THICK? TOO DEEP? PERFECT.

Send us the drawings. If it's concrete, stone or steel, the wire will cut it.
